CCR NAT CAT AWARD
Inaugurated in 2015, the CCR Nat Cat Award acclaims innovative and original doctoral theses devoted to the study of natural catastrophes and its application to the insurance and risk prevention professions.
The CCR Nat Cat Award is open throughout the European Union to any research in the field of geosciences or economic and social sciences. To apply for the 2023 CCR Nat Cat Award, young researchers must have completed or presented a thesis between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2022. The winner is chosen by a jury comprised of academics, experts from the research and insurance sectors, and representatives of CCR. At the CCR CAT Day, the annual meeting of the French insurance market, the winner presents his or her work and is awarded a €5,000 prize./
